Tooth decay rivals the common cold as the most
common health problem. It is not a naturally occurring thing as many people believe, but rather is a bacterial disease.
Unfortunately, tooth decay has no symptoms until it is too late. Thus prevention is the best way to
fight it. Poor oral hygiene and poor nutrition in the diet are the primary causes of tooth decay.
